To achieve this, the first thing we had to do was throw out the server case. To make a server cheaper you just have to get more servers in less space. We had a custom chassis manufactured that pack's 63 server's into the space of a traditional 42 servers. The result is a dramatic cost savings to you. Since we're able to cut back on physical data center space the effective cost of the server dropped by half.
